Ibiza holidays are the first choice of people looking for non stop partying, fun and excitement. Over the course of the past 30 years, the island of Ibiza in the Mediterranean Sea has become the undisputed party capital of the world. Millions of sun worshippers and party goers flock there every year to carpet the beaches by day and party the night away in some of the world’s most incredible clubs.
Ibiza is home to so many world famous clubs, you might have trouble getting around them all. Some of the most famous are Space (famous for its after parties), Privelege (the world’s biggest nightclub), Pacha (a trendy franchise club with a worldwide brand of its own), and Es Paradis (for its world famous water parties). Add to this Ibiza’s multitude of smaller clubs, bars and nightspots, and it’s not difficult to see why the island is considered the party capital of the world.
On an Ibiza holiday, you need to be prepared for a much faster pace of life at night. During the day, things are more relaxed, with people taking to the beach to sunbathe or making their way to Ibiza Town for a wander. As you might expect, it is after the sun has set over Ibiza that the island really comes alive. With this in mind, it might not be the ideal destination if you’re looking for a quiet, subdued holiday.
There’s a huge range of accommodation on Ibiza, from low cost self catering to 5 star luxury. However, most of Ibiza’s young holidaymakers tend to opt for cheaper apartments as most of their time is spent out on the time or in Ibiza clubs. Couples can find some beautiful hotels a little out of the main town, which is ideal if you are looking for somewhere to stay closer to the action but yet you can retreat to should you want to.
If you are going to Ibiza to take advantage of the party scene you need to be aware that every club apart from Pacha closes after September. They are reopened in June at the start of the party season. So if you have booked yourselves on to one of the Ibiza Holidays that falls outside of June to September you need to be prepared for closed down clubs and very few tourists. You also need to be aware that the weather outside of these months can be quite erratic, so you may find that your suntan lotion goes unused.
So for anyone who is looking to party their summer away a holiday to Ibiza could be just what you are looking for. Remember that prices can be pretty high, so plenty of spending money is a must if you want to get into some of Ibiza’s world famous clubs.
